I've also checked and re-applied the thermal paste twice in the history of this CPU because I just didn't believe the 20ºC spikes I was seeing in system monitor.

This thing does turbo up to ~5GHz, so I wonder if this thing just turbos until 80º and decides to hang around there for its own safety.
