They'll waste far more money pursuing these supposed fraudsters than it'll save, it's pathetic but emblematic of the DWP existing mostly to punish anyone who slumps low enough to need them. Not a social safety net, more a means of seeing how badly you can treat someone for being unemployed, the greatest shame.
