Unpopular opinion:
After the Israely retreat from Gaza in 2005,
Gaza had the chance to become the Singapur of the middle east, the Singapur at the Levante.
Instead they went on to become a fully retarded version of Sharia-Mexican-Cartel-Wannabe-Rocketmen.
Imagine the potential that was there.
The comfort of beeing refugees literally FOREVER (UNHCR) and beeing nourished by US and European taxpayers money literally FOREVER was stronger.
And NO - I don't like billions of taxpayers money spent on Israel either.
The difference is - no arab country would support the 'desert gypsies', they can't stand these people.
That's why there are 'stateless palestinian refugees' all over the world - except for arab countries. (Lebanon IS palestine, and Egypt doesn't like them too)
Voluntary monetary support for Israel would be there though, I am quite sure.
That's how Zionism worked in the beginning before the state of Israel was founded.
(Yes fellow Anarchists - you can have an Army and defend yourself without having a 'state')
