A few important points:

Your friends will actually want to support you in this. They're nervous, but they're waiting for permission to do something. I'm giving you permission. You're passing it on to them.

You can make your demo for trans people and migrants (and trans migrants). Or for trans people and reproductive rights. If you have too many issues at once, the messaging gets lost, but two is very manageable and there is always some overlap. This can be a good tactic for addressing two issues at once and it can get more people to show up.

You need to also be talking to your friends and family, especially if they're not on your side. The SPLC has a great guide on responding to minor everyday bigotry https://www.splcenter.org/resources/reports/speak-responding-everyday-bigotry/ . But even if none of that is going to work, you're communicating that there's not consensus on hatred. It's not just you, but your mates. You might not change their mind, but they need to know that you had a lot of friendly interactions. Authoritarians care more about being mainstream than getting to do bigotry. Keep pro-trans, pro-migrant, pro-women (etc) views on their radar. I know this is the biggest ask but this is where allies are needed. It's hard, but right now, it's honestly heroic. We're here on fedi to support you, to salute your efforts.
