One interesting detail about this photo for me is that I didn’t darken the upper clouds locally again. They are naturally that dark and stand in stark contrast to the white clouds below in the original color version. While the mountains are spectacular, they play only a supporting role here; my focus is clearly on the clouds. Clouds are an ever-present subject, not just for me, but showcasing them well is becoming an increasing challenge. Clouds alone are no longer enough for me to create a great photo.
