I caught a lot of flack early in my time on nostr for “advocating for taxes.” People called me a “statist” or said I wasn’t a real bitcoiner.

I’ve been reading Human Action by Ludwig von Mises and I am almost done.

Did you know, that Ludwig von Mises himself admitted that taxes are necessary?

This was an opinion I came to by my own reasoning before I knew that Ludwig Von Mises also came to the same conclusion. I think there are certain bitcoiners out there that need to admit they are not critical thinkers. They repeat sound bites they hear from listening to 50 bitcoin podcasts a day. They are in an echo chamber and don’t think for themselves. They are as ideologically captured and incorrigible as the statists they fight against. At least be honest with yourself.
