I was sitting here hurtling through time and space and I thought, "If current events are earthquakes, I should make a Wikipedia seismograph," so i did!
Instead of measuring absolute page views, it looks at deviations from a 7-day moving average. Daily stats are available on-click; look at Kamala Harris' page views for July 21. Whew.
Next step: selecting date sets and turning them into date-bounded Google News searches so I can explore interesting-looking peaks.
