An LP a day - for no other reason than I love my records - No.35
Jean-Pierre Mas. Trapeze
I bought this in a bargain bin years ago & as we crate diggers know, buying an LP on a whim can sometimes yield an obscure classic... and this is one; brilliant atmospheric modern French jazz for a late night.
Standout tracks:
Un bus pour Tabarka - swirling atmospheric tune that grabs you from the off;
Trapeze - beautiful lyrical ballad
Tabor - nod to North Africa with fluctuating rhythms
