Louise Casey has been appointed to head up a review of social care, which will report in three years time
However, given that we already know that a lot of the problem with social care is a lack of funding (there are also some prospects for reform), another review looks like an attempt to find a way out of the crisis without spending the money required.
However, reasonable & wide-ranging the review is, without a major refinancing of social care, it will mean little!
