Starting to see comparisons between energy around the #Harris campaign and the euphoria of 2008 Obama.
I’m old enough to remember the 2008 euphoria, which descended into the despondency of watching Obama squander a Dem majority to “tamp down” anger and bring boorish Republicans along, his broken promises on healthcare and Roe, Abu Graib, droning strikes on women and children, his aloof defense of cops after Michael Brown.
Obama taught me that there will be time for joy if #Harris delivers.
