And to clarify something, the x86_64 Windows/Linux desktop world does not have a comparable feature. The Secure Boot in that world is incomplete and insecure. It does not usually have an unbroken chain of trust from hardware, doesn't actually verify all the privileged firmware components and generally trusts a bunch of keys. It lacks downgrade protection too. Once it reaches the OS, things get worse since almost all fail to verify nearly all of the OS from their bootloader / kernel.
