Linux Mint shipping a GTK3 GNOME Calendar in the base system is not great. It's just going to create a subpar experience for users. Users will miss out on all the design improvements, bug fixes, and features that people like npub1uvygz6h4e2npz30ey00vdma8jq3q8nn2x5tudmwcyh6u532cfsls5gr55q (npub1uvy…r55q) work on!
Hopefully someday they will get an XApp calendar application.
