PSA:
For those that see scary claims the XDV.1 variant is a Delta/ Omicron recombination (which these days would be alarming), the source of these claims seem to be AI systems writing bogus blog posts drawing on the statistically alphabetically similar code names XD (from 2022) and XDV.
Stand down.
