There’s a group of old dudes that, every single day, setup a couple tables in the shade of the lifeguard tower on the beach in Rota. They play dominoes all afternoon, even breaking from 2-5pm for siesta. One of my y retirement goals is to join that crew and soak in that fabulous slack. I wonder how often, or even if, seats open up. Going to see if I can get to know those guys when I’m there this summer. They keep moving the tables into the shade as the sun moves. That’s the life, right there.
