I have never given up a research project in my life before publishing something meaningful related to it, but I have 3 projects, all at a relatively advanced stage, which i am currently extremely tempted to put in the bin irreversibly. Is it part of work hygiene for you to do so, or do you view this as some kind of failure and a waste of your invested time ?
