when laura hit, trump was in louisiana with the semi-trailer trucks handing out paper towels, toys, and bottled water. There's something to be said for the sheer amount of hatred coming off some people that just wasn't as loud or obnoxious even a decade ago.
Whenever i see a "friend" posting that much hatred about a political party or even a person, i wonder what mistake or statement i'd have to make to get their sights on me. I usually find it's easier to just not interact with them.
