There is a sense of ominousness in the air. Trump, Fox, the GOP, and others, have stirred up so much hatred, that it will eventually manifest into something terrible, something even worse than January 6. When something does happen, they will blame the victims, and then claim to be the victims themselves. When a half-hearted solution is offered to fix the problem they started, they will say “Now isn’t the time to politicize this”, as they actively politicize it. In their hearts, they know all of this to be true, but they love power more than they fear historical infamy.
