The nice thing about being human is that your actions aren't bound to instinct but thought. You can choose to be different.

Greed and power are societal constructs, not inherent behaviors (though there is some discussion regarding AVPR1A polymorphism and human pair-bonding behavior or AVPR1A and greed but..).

Hunter-gatherer societies tend and tended to be very collaborative and would shun greed, hubris, or other negative behaviors.

It takes things like hierarchies forced by religions or capitalism to make us think that the desire for power or greed are natural.

At some point humanity will make this agreement that the current state of things isn't working, that most of us just want the same damn things, and we'll stop listening to this minority of people who have decided that they should be the ones controlling us. But it won't be in my lifetime.

I wonder what I'll be able to take with me to the Trump Christian Reeducation Camp? See y'all there!
