That's not to apologise for or submit that climate change is just something unstoppable, I'm just thinking that the Wilderness Romanticism the eco-doomers lean on probably hasn't existed as an effective lever to pull since maybe John Muir.
The political economics are far more utilitarian now, so maybe we should adapt to more modern climate evangelism.
