These aren't tested for in skin prick tests because if you test positive for birch, it's just likely you're also positive for the other related plant species.

And since these plant species all flower at different times over the spring and summer it just means allergy symptoms are spread over a long period of time over this period.

This is the reason why I can't start my birch allergen immunotherapy until autumn when all this is over for the year.
