I don’t know why it disturbs me so much that people still call X Twitter.
It’s not even like dead naming Kate Jenner with Bruce. That suggests a whole person who came into their own, now. The analogy doesn’t fit for me.
It’s more like someone bought a Porsche, and stripped it down to the chassis, then replaced some parts with other models and dropped a shell on top from a Ford, then calling the jalopy a Porsche, still.
The Porsche is gone.
