genuinely fuck the notation of numbers. It’s not about the quantity of accounts it’s about the quality. I would prefer much smaller numbers with genuine effort made into posting, having conversations than thousands of inactive accounts that post maybe once a week. The popularity contest is so gross to me. On fedi you shouldn’t really be focusing so much on artificial growth.
