When everyone else was posting #aurora photos yesterday we had nothing but cloud cover - typical -, but at around half midnight as we packed up to go to bed I poked my head out of the back door and was greeted by a very intense pink glow that the phone camera only slightly exaggerates here. There's also green towards the bottom behind the clouds over the street behind us. We spent a good ten minutes out there just lapping it all up.
