Looking back at my life, I've had feelings that have leaned in a trans direction since I was about 6 or 7. I've *known* that I was since I was about 16. I spent years assuming there was nothing to be done (thanks to growing up in a conservative Christian household) and forcing my way through. The last few years have been the roughest, because now I know there are options and I just can't reach them.
