I’ve tested out 6 Ledger hardware wallets over the years.

4 nanoX
1 nanoS screen is now completely broke and won’t render the GUI
1 nanoX just gave me a “battery no longer charges” error and then upon using it again just performed a factory reset (presumably wiping the seed) without asking.
33% failure rate is pretty fucking unacceptable with ledger. I’m not using these devices actively even.
Just remember to backup in metal folks…
I was trying to get some manufacturer resiliency by using Coldcard and Ledger for a multisig, but I’m done with ledger after multiple PII leaks and critical HWW malfunctions
Just a PSA I guess…
