GM #siamstr Review of holiday trip with family. South of Thailand

Day 1: Travel to Chumphon Province
- Drove from Lopburi and stopped for lunch at Khrua Lung Muek Pa Lot restaurant in Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. This place serves delicious and reasonably priced seafood with a great sea view.
- Stopped by Au Coffee at Sutda Villa, a beachfront café offering stunning views of the sandbar and the sea.
-Check-in at Chumphon Cabana, a beautiful and peaceful beachfront accommodation located on Thung Wua Laen Beach, known for its white sand and serene atmosphere.

Day 2: Drove to Nakhon Si Thammarat Province
- Take photos at the Thung Wua Laen Beach sign.
- Shop for souvenirs at Phumarin Community Enterprise, specializing in products made from “Kluai Leb Mue Nang” (Lady Finger bananas), a well-known local delicacy from Chumphon. Banana lovers should not miss this place!
- Pay respects at the Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak at Sai Ri Beach, the place whereKrom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak passed away. Many believe that praying here brings blessings to the family.
- Enjoy a delicious and affordable seafood meal at Sichon Seafood, located in a local fishing village.
- Check-in at Sichon Hideaway, a beautiful beachfront accommodation offering family rooms and a private beach, perfect for family vacations.

Day 3: Temple visits and merit-making in Nakhon Si Thammarat
- Visited Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, a royal temple where a relic of the Buddha is enshrined. The family was fortunate to take part in the ceremonial cloth wrapping of the stupa, an auspicious and sacred activity.
- Visited Wat Chedi in Sichon District, famous for the legend of "Ai Khai," a child monk who mysteriously vanished. Devotees often pray and make vows to Ai Khai, believing their wishes will come true. The site draws many faithful visitors.
- Enjoy seafood at Khiang Lay Seafood in Surat Thani Province, famous for its fresh oysters and giant prawns. This restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers passing through the South.
- Check-in at Sunshine Paradise Resort in Thap Sakae, Prachuap Khiri Khan. This beachfront resort is perfect for families, offering shared pools and pool villas with a peaceful beach atmosphere.

Day 4: Safe journey home
- Stopped for lunch in Pranburi District at Tumsai Seafood. Recommended dishes include crab curry in coconut milk and sand whiting fish. This is another excellent restaurant you shouldn’t miss.
- Drove back home, end of the holiday trip
