It feels like we went right from "we can do cultural sex saturation EVERYWHERE but only Esther Perel gets to talk about sex in long term partnership" to "we are all going to be reactive pious prudes but also women's bodies are only for childbearing" and I HATE IT because what I actually want us to talk about is "wow, married sex is such a free gift, provided you give it time and attention, and it's frankly radical in all of the ways to recognize that"
