The opening scene from 1995's The Net is meant to establish that Sandra Bullock's character is a nerdy hermit recluse who never leaves, orders food to be delivered from computers, has everything shipped to her door, and talks to people online instead of in the real world.
You're supposed to see her as a weirdo for this and when I saw it at 13 years old I remember thinking she was living my perfect life. I was annoyed when she had to leave home to get the movie started.
