How does your plot structure grow? Linearly as you go? Or from one or more ideas?
I start with several ideas I want to fit into the main plot. I used to write scenes out of order & fit them together later but, nowadays, I put everything into a spreadsheet broken down by chapter. In the course of writing all this out, I tweak, rearrange, & add depth. So, I'm not sure which option this is 🤣 I have a main plot, plus more ideas, & write linearly.
