The magic is maybe not the tariff, but the blank threat of tariffs. Supply chains to Columbia are probably 25% more resilient by now because US producers will diversify their suppliers above the last micro-cent. Why not negotiate a small deal for a bit worse the price with someone else than Columbian suppliers now.
