The germs I was complaining about early last week were actually a Covid infection, likely brought home from daycare. My first test was a false negative.
Spouse caught it. Spouse’s dad caught it. It was a first infection for both. Everyone is on the mend.
My older kids are staying with their dad an extra week. One of them already has long Covid, and another infection could have terrible consequences for them.
The pandemic isn’t over.
