You are arguing for the 1st meaning above with which I agree. I am referring to the second meaning above--that the finite cannot *fully contain* the *sum total* of the infinite. There's water in the Dixie cup. Real water. But not all the water there is. In this sense of the word, only God *fully comprehends* God in the *sum total* of all that there is to know about God.

In other words, there is water in the Dixie cup. Real, true water. But not all of the water there is.

Really, if you still aren't getting this, then I must be doing too poor of a job of explaining it. Please read that article I've sent, I'm sure it's more clear. If you can get your hands on a good Reformed Dogmatics I'm sure it will click.
