My 1964 Capless just cracked in two places ): this is probably residual stress damage from having fallen to the floor during the earthquake. It might be fixable, I took it apart enough to see what’s going on. One is a hardened O-ring which I might be able to replace with a similar rubber ring. The crack in the upper barrel will have to be solvent welded.

But I will have to leave it for a bit until I have more time to work on it ):
