I dunno, I hate fighting games dial a move shit. You either have to get used to it and spend a LOT of time in training mode practicing stuff and combos, which I've seen my friends do, or play like a scrub forever, which is fine if you're fine with it
If you weren't into it as a kid, I feel like it's "too late", everyone that is into it has decades of experience at this point and then genre's finest hours are behind it
