I don’t know the best way, but an intense session of crunches, planking, side planks with arm under things, bicycle crunches, to name a few, has done wonders for my midline crisis! There’s a bunch on YouTube, or exercise apps, if that’s your thing.
I find it doesn’t need to be extreme to be effective! For abs (and overall) though, diet is a large part, you can’t out exercise a bad diet!
