Always when I start my garden in the spring, I toss in some marigold seeds.
When my kids were little, I always had a big garden completely surrounded by bright colored marigolds. It was a tradition.
So this year, we have containers of marigolds around the vegetables.
When my husband asked me why they were blooming in with the vegetables, all I could come up with is because they belonged there.
