Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, fearlessly preached Christ in Scythia Minor (present-day Dobrogea, Romania). Arrested for their faith, they refused to sacrifice to pagan gods, declaring their allegiance to the one true God. Despite torture and imprisonment, they remained steadfast, converting many with their unwavering faith. Finally, they were beheaded for refusing to renounce Christ.
Lord, through their prayers, strengthen our resolve to live according to Your will.
