I know I've been considerably less active here on Mastodon, which is actually the only social media platform I use.

The reason being is, it's just always so negative and so toxic. Not people being negative/toxic towards me and/or others, just the overall tone of social media in general is negative majority of the time.

It's gotten to a point where it's just not fun or interesting to be active, which is sad because I love to interact with others.

I really wish the world could focus on the positive stuff in life. While yes, there's a lot of negative stuff going on around the world, there is still a lot of positive stuff happening as well and that's what we all should be focusing on.

Maybe I'll get the urge to start being active again at some point but until then, know that I do lurk and read most everything.
