this is great news, and as a mead maker I'm a big fan of more honey, but we also need to take steps to protect native pollinators that aren't honey producers. There are also issues with the non-native honeybee outcompeting native bee species. I've been planting native plant species in my yard lately and the difference in insect population once the plants get established is noticeable.
