Whenever I see someone crying about "internalized misogyny" it's because they're taking issue with the backlash against anything used to subjugate women. Further than that, they take this backlash to mean that the women behind it "want to become men." Because those tools of subjugation, somewhere along the way, became the very essence of what a woman apparently is.
