I'll never stop being creeped out at the way big tech platforms 'narc out' new users to friends who are already using the platform. This is sold as a convenience feature but it's creepy af.
Nostr doesn't require authenticating via your carrier's rented phone number. If you can't appreciate that today, you will eventually.
