Interestingly, after crunching some numbers John Burn-Murdoch (FT) suggests there's been an interesting switch around in both US & UK #elections.
Historically, high turnouts have favoured 'progressive' parties (Labour/Democrats), but in the last decade this has shifted to the point where a higher turnout gives an advantage to the right.
This suggests, as so often the #Tories have got it wrong; limiting voters ability to vote (via ID requirements) may actually disadvantage them... ha ha ha
