I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how to merge the Grapevine with a relay service. In other words: a relay that monitors the network, calculates your Grapevine WoT scores, makes them available as NIP-51 lists, and updates them periodically.
A feature like this would really make a relay stand apart from the rest, I think. And it’s a natural pairing, because these scores will help you decide which notes to seek and store and which to ignore.
This could work with centralized relay services, like nostr.wine, or personal relays, like relay.tools.
Free tier = basic Grapevine WoT Scores
Paid tiers = track scores of more pubkeys, in more contexts, with more frequent updates (once a day? once an hour? Continuous?)
