They tried to cause economic disruption & weaken our resolve on Ukraine. They failed.
We responded with Repower EU. We diversified our supplies. We accelerated transition to clean energy. Share of Russian gas in our imports fell from 45% to 18%.
Overall, we reduced coal supplies from Russia to zero. We reduced funding for Russia’s military economy & strengthened our energy security.”
