We have 2 devotionals a day here 😏 both at the worst hours for me. 8am and 730 pm. 8am I'm don't want to hear the shitty music(even the head guy here with my same exact name doesn't like the music)on shitty speakers when I'm still waking up drinking coffee, and at 730 I'm already down for the day chilling and then have to go downstairs to gather around one of us to read from the book and say their piece. If I could choose one I'd choose the 730 one because there's no music. I have no problem with Christians or Christianity personally. There's no hate or anything like that. I just haven't heard anyone here or somewhere else compel me to any of it. You can't just tell me a bunch of fantastical shit and I believe it. If you told me you woke up one morning and stubbed your toe and knocked your head against the corner of a cupboard door is believe it because it's things that happen and why would you lie about it? The people that wrote that book are so far removed from our timeline I don't readily believe it. Yes there's multiple cultures who've talked about a flood, that makes it plausible, there's multiple cultures who have the same story of Jesus yet none of it took place where the Bible says. I believe in God and have seen my share of divine intervention. I just view God in a different perspective than most people do. I don't think of God as a sky warden that we all must grovel to our entire lives in order to be let into the buffet of plenty upon death. That means this is a prison planet and God is a sadistic asshole who creates a being with all these capabilities and easy pitfalls and must abstain from most of it except for the dreadful shit in order to get into his club. I love my woman with every ounce of my being, despite her deflects and all that, but I would never damn her to a life like that. Just because the first woman ate an apple a snake told her t.... See, even that's absurd on its face right there. God blood libeled the rest of us for eternity because of the FIRST woman? He created us!!! And why aren't there a female and male God, there's 2 of us? Made in God's image. We're definitely made in God's image, just not the way it's perceived. We're made in God's image the same way Russian dolls are stacked together
