Topical relays 👇
I have been holding myself back from saying a lot of things about the Israel Gaza situation because I feel that most of my followers care about the gossip client, not about my opinion on that matter. I dont want to take advantage of that. Nostr is still young and I need a way to "spam" a lot of information about this conflict without spamming people who are just trying to get updates on the gossip client.
I've just decided that the way I'm going to attempt this is to make my new posts on this topic as replies to this post.
What if
M. Dilger (npub1acg…p35c) could write his thoughts on this conflict on a relay that is dedicated to these themes, and instead of having to attempt to compartmentalize in this way, the conversation would naturally trend towards such relay.
Not interested in it? Don't connect to the relay.
Ofc, all clients fall short of making this UX possible. But the protocol allows it and we should build software that enables it.
