There was a shortage of strawberries after the repeated atmospheric rivers flooded California's strawberry production region.
Now there's a napa cabbage shortage. I haven't been able to buy any for at least three months now, not from Kroger, Meijer, or Walmart. There's bok choy but I don't make kimchi with bok choy. Wonder where bok choy is grown?
I'll have to break down and use regular green cabbage but it's just not the same. Or make a Slavic variant with red cabbage and red onions.
