Not a bad idea, but perhaps a bit messy and impractical for an average commuter.
Which is why I've been thinking lately that my next car should probably be a 4WD pickup truck with a snow plow installed as standard. Looks like we're going to need one all year round these days.
Since the police can't be babysitting everywhere or often won't do anything, simply plowing through the idiots on the roads would cause minimal damage to both the idiots and the car.
