That is an interesting stretch of logic. But I don't buy it. And yes, I am familiar with the 12th Amendment, but don't agree it applies here, pre election.
Biden and only Biden got votes, in an election that was not even held in all the states, or even run in any way to allow other candidates. It was assumed Harris would be his VP, but he would have been within his rights to drop her from the ticket, at convention.
