You can say that to just about every manufacturing industry. In automotive, the software we were using was built for XP systems, still maintained, he just used XP to write it XD. Our dynamometer was running Windows 2000 IIRC. There are guys still using DOS w/ floppies on CNC mills. My buddy went through machining school and they had to spend time teaching him how to use DOS and push his G code to a floppy disk XD
